Third parcel from Trier!

On Tuesday afternoon I got a huge surprise! It was a parcel from Trier, send by my dear friend Kyraja of Marigold Creek. The fact that Kyraja send me a parcel was not a surprise, but what was surprising was the fact that it actually reached me much sooner than we anticipated, as the South African Post Office was at their worst again.

Inside was some amazing stuff. Lets have a closer look.

The trade was initiated by the fact that I wanted the beautician table set (which included the cat sister). We also agreed on some handmade stuff that Kyraja would send me. As a (HUGE) surprise she send me the cat father.

Kyraja really spoiled me with all the linen sets. It is hard to pick a favorite, but I love the blue and red matching set for a children's room. Which is your favorite?

She also made me some crockery, isn't that teapot just adorably cute!

A little dollhouse, with a bed and a stove!

And a small stove or hotplate.

The cat father is really cute and I love his modern looking outfit, but I must say I was rather astonished by the fact the the fur was not soft and silky, as it sure does look like it would be.

So now I already new about the sister's prickly fur, but couldn't wait to inspect her dress and have a closer look at the beautician table.

I love these JP boxes!

Neatly packed an secured as usual.

The set all set up. It didn't take so long to get everything into place, but wow some of those bits are super small and maybe not ideal for teeny tiny little hands. I will watch this set like a hawk! As expected her dress was stunning.

Dad and sister togehter. I'm still undecided about where they would live and what they will do. But first I got to find them some names. I'm unsure if I should use the Persis Family's names, as it just doesn't seem right and I'm not that fond of those names. While we are on the topic, which of the two cat families do you prefer?

After opening the parcel, setting it up and having a good look at it, it was time to hand all the items over to it's intended owners and users.

First up was the beautician set, as the resident beautician, Margaret Petite got the beautician table. She was delighted and now she and Dorothy Patches can finally open their salon.

The white bed went to the Fisher family. Schroeder and Isabel is quite relieved as this mean that the constant backache they had form sleeping on a fold out couch might start waning soon.

Mona Hazelnut was thrilled with her new bedding sets too. She loved their pink duvet and pillow cases, but the kids matching set had to be her favorite!

Wren Farthing was so pleased with the dollhouse she received, that she even allowed her little brother to play with her.

I never told Kyraja what kind of bedding sets I was looking for, and that she should surprise me. I was delighted with the yellow bedding set, and instantly knew where I want to use it. I never was happy with the old sets that the Farthing children had, and these yellow ones was perfect for them.

Margaret was spoiled some more as I decided the crockery was perfect for her and Pete. She immediately invited her best friend Kaitlin over for a cup of tea.

Finally, the stove was for the Bearbury Family. It was only gathering dust in the Buttercup's store room and Daisy was more then happy to give it to a very thankful Irene Bearbury.

What a wonderful package, thank you so much Kyraja. I loved my cat sister set and all the surprises was wonderful. I have a very happy lot of critters now.

    1. They are cute yes, and one can therefore overlook the lack of softness.

Your villagers look really happy with their new items - especially the Fishers and Bearburys. I hope the Fishers can rest good on their new bed :).
