The"new" Mcburrows Mole Family

Just a quick post this afternoon, introducing my "new" Mcburrows Mole Family. New you might ask? Maybe you can tell me why they are "new".

Father: Digger Mcburrows
Mother: Heidi Mcburrows
Brother: Muddy Mcburrows (7 and twin of Molly)
Sister: Molly Mcburrows (7 and twin of Muddy)
Baby boy: Monty Mcburrows (nb)

Father Digger is a soil and garden expert. He just bought his own garden landscaping business in Sugarbush Valley and already the work is pouring in. Being new to the village he and his family are still finding their feet.

Mother Heidi is quite excited to finally be part of a larger community as the place they have moved from was very remote. She is very house-proud and loves decorating her house with beautiful things. No matter when you visit you will always find her cleaning and decorating.

Digger and Heidi have three children Muddy and Molly who are twins, and newborn baby Monty. The pair is inseparable and is best friends. Heidi has tried numerously to get them to make friends with other children, but to no avail. She is hoping that things will change in their new hometown.

Brother Muddy drives his mother up the wall. He just cannot keep his clothes clean and is always covered in mud, which makes her job of cleaning the house never ending. Sister Molly is very clever with her hands. She loves to make presents for all her family and friends. She can turn a simple toiletroll holder into anything from a butterfly to a racing car. Monty is a wriggler and never sits or lay still. When on the floor he will find a way to move around, be it crawling, shuffling or rolling. When he is on his mother’s lap he prefers to constantly jump up and down.

Yes! You have guessed it! Little Mo changed into a little Monty. The blue jumper just suit the colour of the moles better for me and I just fell in love with little Monty whenever I see him on a promo pic or in a fellow collector's blog.

Then some sad news, I've been playing with this idea to change Mo into Monty for a while now and thought it was a good idea for a competition. You know, "guess what is different", but our postal services is on a strike. It has been going on for 9 months now and has worsen the last month. So no sense in running a competition if the parcel can't be posted or will get lost.
