The Commune: An update

About a year ago I introduced my Commune (as a whole) to you for the first time. In the mean time their was a few changes and a few families who left and new ones who moved it. I also had some complaints about it not being easily accessible when one wants to look at it (not everyone has the patience to search throught the old posts.)

So here is an update and it can now also be found under my "Houses of the Village" page.

In the attic room lives the Brighteyes and Simpkins families, who share the small loft.

Cute comfy with a bed for each and a small kitchenette.

On the second floor live the Thistlethorn, Timbertop and Bercher Families. The bathroom is also situated on this floor.

The Thistlethorn room. I am very proud of the Maple Town furniture I have in here. Maybe one I'll get them the cupboard and stove too.

The bathroom

The Timbertop room. The poor adults still need a bed (an oversight on my part when I took the pictures)

The Bercher room. I love the white furniture.

The Kitchen can be found on the first floor, where the Keats and the Hazelnut families live

The Hazelnut room

The Ground floor with rooms for the Farthings, Hunter-Smyths, PC Roberts and the Fishers.

Which is your favorite room?

  1. Oh I'm in Heaven right now, now I don't have to search for ever in old post, thank you for making my little easier:))) I love the last photo and will probably go again and again to look at it it's so full of life and each room so different and just so fun to explore. I find it extremely hard to pick just one favorite, every time I think this is the one I look around and think wait what about this one!!! I like Fisher room but then I also love Bercher and Hazelnut rooms and well the bachelor pad fits him so perfectly and then it's the attic and I love the Mable Town furniture in Thistlethorn room, see it's simply impossible to choose one!

    1. That is interesting too know. As they are permanent residence I tried to make their room a bit more comfy with necessities. I will surely have a look at your blog!

  8. The Commune is incredible, so much detail and care has been poured into it, clearly - I love the bathroom, the kitchen and the Fletcher's room especially!

    1. I must say Im surprised by the many votes the bathroom gets, it doesn't even have a real basin, but thanks anyways. With Fletcher do you mean Fisher or Farthing ;-)

  9. Your commune is a lovely place to live! I like all the rooms but my favourite are the Bercher´s, the white furniture is very nice and the Farthings´s. . I also like the loft in the attic with its kitchenette.I love the wallpaper and floor you used in the bathroom and they kitchen they share is very cosy. If had place in my flat I´d love to do something similar but I don´t have room for it. It´s great that all your villagers have a home.

    1. I must say I really like the attic too. I wish a house was like Hermione's handbag of Harry Potter... if you understand what I mean (sorry if you dont - it was so small but she could fit a lot of stuff in there)

  10. Oh wow, so many rooms!! I have to say my favourite photo is the one with all of them together.

You're an awfully friendly SF owner in making sure that EVERY member of the village has a home...
    That's really generous!! :)))

    1. I know, I try my best... it is just so unfair to the ones who don't have homes ;-). That is also why I only buy the families that I really like!
